Repens Mushroom

These mushrooms are very peculiar as they only grow upon stone. Their mycelia are much like slime molds as they stretch out and often link back up with each other. The gills in their cap are very large and wide as they don't release spores in a broad expanse but rather in a small area. The spores can only germinate if the land upon another Repens mycelium or another plant species soon overcrowding it. Their stalks are almost invisible as they are very short and there is a greater difference in the cap to stalk ratio. The typical height is roughly 1 inch off the rock at the cap and a diameter of 8-9 inches. The underneath of the cap releases the most amount of light while the top barely let's out any much like a streetlight.
